The term magic can mean different things to different people. In fact, it is a catch-all word used to define things that are indefinable, supernatural, and/or mystical.

New mysteries of Olmecs: Basalt disk

 During the excavations of the ancient Olmec capital of San Lorenzo Tenochtitlan city, archaeologists found a basalt disk with two carved prints resembling eagle claws, as well as a damaged sculpture of a jaguar with an open mouth and crossed front paws (one of them damaged). These artifacts could belong to some notable resident.

Mount Vesuvius, a volcano near the Bay of Naples in Italy, is hundreds of thousands of years old and has erupted more than 50 times. Its most famous eruption took place in the year 79 A.D., when the volcano buried the ancient Roman city of Pompeii under a thick carpet of volcanic ash. At HiddenMysteries.com (TGS Publishing), we have resisted the industry push to electronic books. (kindle, pdf, etc.) Years ago we read a scientific study of the dangers to the eyes due to reading from a computer screen.

None of us today can escape the demands of society to use computers. They are a fact of life and unfortunately a necessary tool. The current push to use smaller and smaller computers, phones, Ipads, Kindles, etc. only exacerbates the problems of deteriorating the health of your eyes. Extended use of televisions have long been known to affect your vision’s health.

The sun is set to “flip upside down” within weeks as its magnetic field reverses polarity in an event that will send ripple effects throughout the solar system.

Although it may sound like a catastrophic occurrence, there’s no need to run for cover. The sun switches its polarity, flipping its magnetic north and south, once every eleven years through an internal mechanism about which little is understood.
